Iherb delays

Good afternoon guys.

With ordering multiple different orders from Iherb, it seems like they are staggering / delaying dispatch times on each order, which I think is to avoid import taxes.

Now this is great, but it means it’s taking a lot longer to dispatch my products.

Could I just create another account with Iherb to get around shipment delays? Because there’s more I need to order today but at this rate it could be another week before previous orders even get dispatched from Iherb.

Thanks

Be patient. Not all but many retailers will flag you for multiple accounts. Also, I don’t see how another account would avoid shipment delays especially with iHerb since they use a few different carriers.

In most cases it is not a good idea to create multiple accounts with your suppliers. It wont be a huge delay, they will ship all the orders ASAP. Of course if you placed 50 orders thats another story.

I believe it’s a matter of how many parcels get checked in on the same day under your name by customs. So, even if you place three orders on separate days, if all the parcels get checked by customs on the same day, they will be counted as one parcel. Hence, iHerb dispatches the orders on different days. I wouldn’t push the limits and would just stick with one account 😃 but this is just me

I was thinking of jigging my details on a new account to see if that would work. I’ll be patient, not worth the risk of flagging my account up.

Thanks, it’s frustrating having to wait so long. I’ll be more patient, they just seem to be taking forever to dispatch.

Makes sense. Thank you for your insight

You can always try 2nd account, on different name/laptop/IP/Payment details, but bottom line if they go deep the delivery address is same 🙂 Depends of the suppliers policies tbh.

Be careful jigging your name, since invoices need to match the name on the Amazon account.

Cheers mate, noted 👍. I won’t risk it ☺️
