If I don't re-verify and provide the tax info for the US marketplace, will this have a negative impact on my EU selling account?

Hi all,

I have an Amazon Global Selling account, and my US marketplace has been deactivated due to no activity and missing tax info.

I have never sold in the US marketplace and don’t intend to (I only sell in the UK).

(Don’t ask how I ended up with a Global Selling account—a small but big mistake!)

Genuine advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Markets aren’t linked. Just sell in the UK and keep everything verified there; you will be fine.

I have seen this before. Yes, just get verified in the USA and leave it at that. I’m not sure if being suspended in the USA will affect your UK store.

As far as I know, it doesn’t. You can also deactivate each country you don’t sell to.

Does not effect your UK account. Just means you can’t sell in USA. I’m blocked in Japan but don’t do anything about it because I don’t care.

They also said similar. Do I just close my seller account of that country/region?

(Stupid question I know but just want to be sure)

It doesn’t.

Yes, just remove those countries if you don’t plan to sell there. You can activate them later when you do plan to sell.

Yes, only for that country.
