Hello
Wanted to see if anyone had pointers. I wanted it to be all FBA.
Thank you!
Hello
Wanted to see if anyone had pointers. I wanted it to be all FBA.
Thank you!
I’m a seasoned Amazon FBA expert with a track record of launching successful products. Let’s get your sauce brand dominating shelves and crushing sales.
My first mistake was creating the listing as “generic,” expecting to change it to my own brand later once I was ready to pay for the trademark. What I didn’t realize is that Amazon doesn’t allow you to change a listing from generic to another brand. As a result, I now have to sell out the product under the generic listing before I can sell my next batch under my own branding and start a new listing from scratch.
If you want to sell sauce on Amazon FBA, having a good recipe is not enough because you need proper paperwork first. Your factory or packing place must be FDA registered, and you must show lab test results proving your sauce’s pH level is safe and won’t spoil at room temperature. Also, when your sauce reaches the Amazon warehouse, it must have at least 90 days left before it expires.
Packaging is another big challenge. If you use glass bottles, they must pass a 3-foot drop test without breaking, which usually means you have to spend more money on bubble wrap or extra boxes. You must also make sure there is zero leakage, because one leaking bottle can cause Amazon to reject your entire batch.
Lastly, you must follow Amazon’s specific business rules. Every bottle needs its own barcode (UPC/GTIN), and it is smart to sign up for Brand Registry so no one can steal your brand name. Don’t forget that sauce is heavy, so you need to calculate Amazon’s shipping and storage fees very carefully, or you might not make any profit. Thanks
Thanks for all input, I already have all that in line! Product is being sent to FDA testing as of the moment.
That’s amazing
Make sure packaging is leak-proof, sized right, and ships safely. Test a small batch first and highlight your unique points in the listing.
Just ensure your sauce complies with FDA labeling, ingredient, and packaging regulations, get proper barcodes, calculate FBA fees carefully for liquids, and use prep centers.
