I need a bit of help with invoices that Amazon requires

Hey everyone

I bought a large quantity of branded shoes from a local store, but I only have simple receipts. Amazon is asking for a commercial invoice (not just a receipt) that meets specific requirements:

Issued within the last 365 days

Quantities must match sales volume

Includes product identifiers (name, model, barcode, etc.)

Supplier’s full contact details (name, address, website)

Must be an authentic PDF or image (not editable formats)

Prices can be hidden, but all other details must remain visible

Must reflect a complete order (not a quote or proforma)

Supplier must have a verifiable online presence

Does anyone know where I can find an invoice that Amazon accepts (document or link), preferably for shoes, that I can refer to to know the correct format and required details.

So it seems that you are planning to “create” your own invoice?

While this may seem to you to be a good idea, it is a quick route to permanent account deactivation as forging documents is very frowned upon.

Buying from retail stores used to be ok but these days, the likelihood is that you will not satisfy Amazon should you be asked for an invoice.

I suggest you get rid of these shoes on ebay or elsewhere and source your products from reputable and authorised distributors in the future,

Apologies if I have misunderstood what you are planning to do.

You’ll need a manufacturer invoice or one from an authorized distributor. Amazon doesn’t accept invoices from local wholesalers.

Why not contact the supplier you bought it from and ask them to issue the invoice in the required format? They might be willing to help.

Amazon never accepts normal retail receipts, you need a wholesale-style invoice from a legitimate supplier with full details like name, address, phone number, SKU, and website.

You can check sample formats from suppliers like Frontier Co-op or E-Distribution, as their invoices are known to meet Amazon’s standards.

Make sure it shows a quantity of 10 or more and that the supplier’s website is active.

Are you sourcing branded shoes locally or trying to ungate using the invoice?
