Hi everyone,

They quoted me:

• $599 per trademark application (includes trademark search and filing)

• One application covers either a brand name (word mark) OR a logo (design mark)

• If I want both the brand name and logo protected, I would need two separate applications

• Additional classes cost $450 each

• Extra fees may apply for Office Actions and some other situations

I’m confused about whether I should register:

  1. Just my brand name (word mark)

  2. Just my logo

  3. Both

For Amazon Brand Registry and long-term brand protection, what did you register first?

Also:

• Is $599 per application a reasonable price?

• Did you register your brand name before launching or after sales started?

• Any other questions I should ask the trademark company before proceeding?
