Product Name
Manufacturer name
Brand name
UPC or EAN or ISBN or JAN along with GS1 certificate
Non-brand owners: A copy of a letter/email from the manufacturer or brand stating that the UPC or EAN or ISBN or JAN you are using to list this product is valid
Brand owner: Valid and current (not expired) GS1 certificate for the GTIN range(s) used by your listings
The error message 8572 means that the UPC or EAN code you are using to list your product does not match the product in Amazon’s database. This can happen for a few reasons, such as:
You are using a UPC or EAN code that is not valid or registered with GS1.
You are using a UPC or EAN code that is assigned to a different product.
You are trying to list a product that is already listed on Amazon with a different UPC or EAN code.
