I have been trying to open a seller account in Canada

Hi,

Initially I chose to provide internet bill for proof of address verification. It was refused and asked for bank statements.

In second attempt I provided Bank statement with address. It still says verification failed.

I am not sure if I need to register the business first and open the seller account or not.

I wanted to register corporation after opening the seller account.

Pls let me know your thoughts. Thanks

This happened with me as well. Just make sure you haven’t had the seller account before. If you had any, all those accounts need to be in Active status without any policy violations or closed permanently. They are restricting to open new seller account.
