I have a quick question

Hello,

I received an Intellectual Property (IP) notice on my Amazon account for three items I had purchased for personal use. I never used them and decided to list them on Amazon. I contacted the complainant to explain that the product is not counterfeit, as they stopped distributing it and I bought it in 2022. They asked me to remove the listing, which I did, so they could review the matter.

A few hours later, I noticed the alert on my account, and my Account Health score dropped from 212 to 204. I was advised to wait for the complainant to retract their claim, given that it’s currently the holiday season.

In your opinion, should I wait, or should I send the receipt I printed, along with the credit card I used for the purchase and the bank statement for this transaction, directly to Amazon?

Do you think not responding to Amazon (neither by providing the receipt nor admitting fault) could result in the issue disappearing after a few months? The complainant claims the product is not authentic.

I know this is a long question, but do you have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Appeal it and, at the same time, wait for the IP claim to be removed by the issuer.

Thank you so much for your quick response; I really appreciate it.

Would it work with an official receipt?

You should wait and see if you get the retraction. Amazon is cracking down on the 365 day rule for receipts and invoices. Submitting one from 2022 can easily open a hornets nest which sometimes results in a deactivation.

Can I create a removal order for the three units of this product, even though I previously deleted the listing at the request of the brand owner?

Yes, they should be in stranded.
