Hello,

I’m a new Amazon fba seller. It took me several months but I was finally able to get my listing up and sold my first item yesterday.

IT has been a long road and I’m glad to have found this community (the help center was the least bit helpful during this process)

  1. I am selling a pretty common item and my listing won’t come up during searches. Any tips on how to improve this?

  2. Other sellers seem to be selling the same item and have their own brand name. How can I post as the same listing or as another seller under that listing? (If that makes sense)

  3. What app can I use to source products from stores?

  1. It needs search volume and sales volume. You can start by optimizing your detail page and search terms. Or use Amazon PPC to help drive impressions, or spam the internet with your product.

  2. You can’t sell your item under the other brand’s listing unless your item is also of that brand

  3. You can technically just go to Walmart and grab stuff if you want to source products from stores but you risk getting banned because your products should come from legitimate distributors.

    • Getting your items from distributors can also be cheaper because you’re buying wholesale.
