I’m a new seller, I do online arbitrage. opened up my Amazon account last June 2024.
I received an email regarding violation of Sec 3 Amazon policy. Had a video call to verify my identity so I submitted verification documents and other related documents prior of the interview. They ask me to send documents such as valid government ID and supply chain document (invoices or receipts), bank statement, proof of delivery or bill. There was a particular asin that was stated on the email. So the video call happened, got an email asking for the same documents and I sent them (ID, bank starement, order confirmation, proof of delivery) my account was reinstated for few days. They asked for “utility bill” and I submitted it.
Then it was again deactivated for the same reason under Sec 3. I then appealed and sent same documents including (order confirmation, proof of delivery, bank statement and passport). I highlighted all the details this time. I was denied because they confirmed that my Amazon seller account has been used to engaged in deceptive or fraudulent activity.
Do you have any suggestion on how to reactivate my account again? Thank you so much!
I’ve noticed that when Amazon asks for a utility bill, it often seems like the kiss of death. It seems Amazon is targeting new accounts (or relatively new accounts) this year, or accounts where critical information has been changed (which might make it look like the account was sold, etc.).
I know of three separate accounts that were suspended within a 24-hour timespan for the same reason. I’ve also been told by multiple people who deal with appeals that when Amazon requests a utility bill, it’s almost always game over. Unfortunately, they will ask for it, but no matter what you provide, they won’t accept it.
Maybe a professional here would be better suited to help you, as I haven’t heard of anyone successfully appealing something like this. It seems even more unlikely without expert help.
Hello Raggarty, concerning the issue you’re facing on your amazon account there’s a perfect solution to it and have you taken any action before in order to reactivate your account?
It sounds like your account has been flagged for serious policy violations under Section 3, and reinstatement will require a robust and thorough appeal. I prepared the below guide for your convenience:
