I am a newbie and need assistance with brand registry

Hi,

so I just enrolled to Amazon, I am creating my own brand and to register for brand registry I have uploaded the photos of the products and I keep getting declined and I receive very generic responses.

At this point I think it is because the brand is not trademarked.

Any news?

Hi yes, you’re right.

Amazon Brand Registry usually requires an active registered trademark (or at least a pending trademark accepted in Amazon-supported countries). If your brand is not trademarked yet, your application will get rejected even if product photos are correct.First step is to apply for a trademark, then use that details (brand name + trademark number) for Brand Registry. After approval, you can easily get access.

You will need trade mark 1st,

Actually on trade mark give you a specific number then you will add those number in a brand Registry.

You may need to register your trademark first. Also, please check that your photos comply with Amazon‘s requirements: they must have a pure white background, no watermark, and show the complete product. You can retake and upload the photos according to the specifications.

If your application is for Amazon Brand Registry, then yes, the most likely reason is that your brand does not yet have an active trademark or a pending trademark application from an accepted IP office. Amazon usually requires a text-based or image-based trademark before approving Brand Registry, and product photos alone are normally not enough.

Also make sure your brand name is permanently attached to the product or packaging exactly the same way as the trademark name. Generic rejection emails are very common when the images do not clearly show branded packaging, logo placement, or trademark details.

You can apply for a trademark first, then use the serial number to apply through Amazon IP Accelerator or regular Brand Registry once the trademark is pending.

You have to make sure these documents are in your hand before registering a brand on Amazon.

1 - Trademark application

2 - LLC information

3 - Product photos with brand name on it.

4 - Employer ID

They also require invoices sometimes, totally depends on category. I have registered multiple brands.

You may need a trademark first. Amazon Brand Registry usually asks for an active trademark and clear brand name photos on products/packaging.

Most likely yes. Brand Registry usually needs a pending or approved trademark. Also make sure the brand name is physically printed on the product or packaging, not edited into the photo.

No trademark = no brand registry, Amazon is strict about this.

You need a pending or registered trademark through USPTO (US) or your country’s IP office, pending is enough to apply

Make sure your brand name on the trademark application matches exactly what’s on your product and packaging, even one letter off gets you declined

Once you have the trademark application number, go back to brand registry and use that, most sellers don’t realize pending works

Sure, I can help you with brand registry from the beginning. Please share your business details, trademark status, and any documents you already have, such as your sira card, so I can guide you on the next steps.
