It wasn’t done to avoid anything. All listings for Accu-Chek don’t require ungating or anything else. It wasn’t evasive, they just won’t listen.
Why did this happen?
We have taken this measure because you have listed items that are not permitted for sale on Amazon in a manner to avoid detection. Items sold on Amazon must adhere to all applicable laws and Amazon policies. For more information, you can refer to the following resources:

Has your account been deactivated in error?
Listing products on Amazon in a manner to avoid detection is considered evasive behavior. Evasive behavior does not have a path to reinstatement unless you provide valid proof of your adherence to all applicable laws and Amazon policies. To reactivate your seller account, submit evidence or documentation demonstrating that your account has not violated our Restricted Products policy.
I am pretty sure it was the correct one. But some of the listings brands are written as Accu-Chek, others without the dash. This is how they were created. I wonder if this could be the issue?
As you said, they just won’t listen. Have you tried admitting the mistake and simply saying, ‘Look, I made a beginner’s mistake. Sorry, I won’t do it again’?
Search with the barcode number. What comes up? What brand? Did you list under the same ASIN?
The notification from Amazon is telling me that you listed the items under the wrong brand. The absence of the dash is a good indicator that the brand is not correct…
thank you for joining the forum, I am sorry to hear that your Seller Account has been deactivated.
This is a new and interesting wording. They recently started pursuing the type of sellers, who will find ways how to list otherwise gated or restricted products. When a product has a complex brand name, you need to be careful and ensure that it is spelled correctly in the brand field.
If you have valid invoices, this should be still appealable as long as you weren’t the one who created the listings.
It is no longer possible for sellers to create listings on Amazon for products of third party brands.
It sounds frustrating. Make sure your appeal includes proof of compliance with Amazon’s policies. Have you reviewed their Restricted Products policy again?
Does your product fall in a restricted category? Which is not allowed to sell without testing proof?
