I am creating a variation for my client’s product and the brand belongs to him, however Amazon is not accepting:

5461: You may not create new ASINs for this brand (brand name ).

If you believe that the product you want to sell is not already listed in the Amazon catalogue and should be listed as a new ASIN, submit an application by clicking here and completing the form.

Is the asin already listed on Amazon???

The UPC code mostly creates these issues. If you have a UPC from the G-one site, then open a case and provide all details, including the UPC code and G-one certificate. They will allow you to create a new listing under the brand. Brand registration only works if you register your brand in Amazon’s Brand Registry. If you’re already registered in Amazon’s Brand Registry, then it’s only a UPC issue.

Adding variations…

I just created upc but customer dont have trademark registered they have created
144 listings and selling their brand without trademark

Trade mark is easy to register in UK. Now a day Amazon now allow generic listing. Butt again if you just open case and explain with upc code and to submit G-one certificate of upc code it will help.
