How do you ungate brands?

I am new to FBA / FBM and Amazon.

To ungate brands on Amazon, you’ll need to provide invoices from authorized distributors or manufacturers showing you’ve purchased at least 10 units of the brand’s products. Go to the “Add a Product” section in Seller Central, search for the product, and click “Request Approval.” Amazon may also ask for additional documentation like a letter of authorization from the brand. Make sure your account is in good standing, as that can impact approval.

Ungating brands on Amazon typically requires submitting invoices from authorized distributors or manufacturers that meet Amazon’s criteria. Start by going to Seller Central > Inventory > Add a Product, search for the restricted brand, and click Request Approval if prompted. Amazon may ask for documents such as invoices showing recent purchases (usually 10+ units), business licenses, or authorization letters. If you’re new, sourcing from reputable wholesalers rather than retail stores increases your chances of approval. Some sellers also use ungating services, but it’s best to ensure compliance with Amazon’s policies to avoid account issues.
