I’m new here! I need some help/advice… so I’m wanting to set up an FBA account (UK) and I’m wondering if I need to set up as self employed and if so how to do it because on Gov.Uk it just says self assessment form which is doing your taxes once self employed but I can’t seem to find anywhere to set up for myself to be self employed.
Would be much appreciated if anyone could help me figure it out and I have many more questions to ask aswell so any help will be very much appreciated,
Yes, you need to set up as self-employed if you want to sell on Amazon FBA in the UK. To do this, you need to register for self-assessment with HMRC.
To register for self-assessment, you can go to the HMRC website and follow the instructions. You will need to provide your personal details, including your name, address, and National Insurance number. You will also need to provide information about your business, such as your trading name and the type of goods or services you sell.
Once you have registered for self-assessment, you will need to complete a self-assessment tax return each year. Your self-assessment tax return will show your income and expenses for the year, and you will use it to calculate your tax liability.
