How do you sell character merchandise?

Hi

Does anyone have experience selling ballons?

Amazon keeps rejecting as required all cartoon authorisation letter.

How people sell spiderman, peppa pig, Disney balloons???

Amazon does require a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the copyright holder in order to sell licensed balloons. This is to ensure that the seller has the right to sell the product and that the copyright holder is receiving royalties.

There are a few ways to get an LOA from a copyright holder. One way is to contact the company directly and request an LOA. Another way is to use a third-party service that specializes in obtaining LOAs.

Once you have an LOA, you can submit it to Amazon and they will review it. If the LOA is approved, your listing will be activated and you will be able to start selling licensed balloons.

As for how people sell Spiderman, Peppa Pig, and Disney balloons on Amazon, they must have obtained the necessary LOAs from the copyright holders. These LOAs can be difficult to obtain, but they are essential if you want to sell licensed balloons on Amazon.

Here are some tips for getting an LOA from a copyright holder:

Be clear about what you are asking for. In your request, be sure to specify the product you want to sell and the copyright holder you are contacting.

Provide as much information as possible. The more information you can provide, the more likely the copyright holder is to approve your request. This includes information about your business, your sales history, and your plans for marketing the product.

Be patient. It can take some time to get an LOA from a copyright holder. Be patient and persistent, and eventually you will be successful.

I hope this helps!

Hi @Creative_Soul_Crafts

Below is the selling application I received when I chose to sell a Disney balloon.

You can purchase your balloons from the manufacturer and/or wholesale distributor. I would have no problem getting a invoice for at least 10 balloons from one of my wholesale vendors who is also the manufacturer.

I was considering purchasing a few air filled balloons for Halloween. They were priced at $1,50 each and/or $2.00 for Disney brand. The thing that got to me the most? If I purchased them today, it would be 180 days before I could list them.

Another consideration is the pricing. A seller of the same brand as mine is selling a 19" air filled balloon for $3.97. It would cost me almost that amount to ship it and get a tracking number.
