I assume the seller should indemnify the buyer against any losses resulting from issues that may have occurred during the seller’s ownership of the account. What specific clauses should be included to ensure that the buyer is protected from potential liabilities, such as account suspensions, negative feedback, or any other disputes with Amazon that may arise after the purchase? Additionally, what documentation or information should the seller provide to the buyer to facilitate a smooth transition and minimize risks?
You need a contract. In that contract the buyer and seller will protect themselves. I would advise you to hire a professional lawyer to draft one. It’s going to cost you after least £5k to draw up the SPA.
Depends on the purchase price. If this is an empty account purchased from someone who no longer intends to sell on Amazon, then I would not complicate things with contracts.
Obviously, if you are buying an aged and well-established account, then it will be worth the retainer to hire a lawyer.
