How do I go about setting up my Amazon Seller Central account if I’m in the process of changing my last name?

So far I have received my new social security card with my new last name so it’s technically changed, but it’s going to take some time to finish updating my ID, passport and bank accounts.

I’m not sure what the best route is in which name to use to ensure Amazon approves my account.

I would hold off until every thing settles. How long, its hard to say.

One thing is for certain you are not missing out on very much money by waiting. Once you get your account and see how dismal it really it is you will understand.

At minimum my guess would be to wait until at least your information is established in the credit reporting bureau. Then apply for a credit card, if that works you will have a much better chance with the account getting established, this is all opinion, none is for fact.

I agree with @skeeter, it’s worth the wait as opposed to being stuck in a never-ending Seller Identity Verification.
