How do I close amazon FBA and get rid of inventory instead of getting charged for storage?

I have some inventory that’s not selling. I have a full time job, and ready to let this Amazon business go. I just cannot put full interest and focus on this.

You can ask Amazon to liquidate or destroy your stock or remove it back to your premises.

It all costs though, check the fees in your marketplace before you make any decision.

To close your Amazon FBA and get rid of your inventory without incurring storage fees, you need to create a “removal order” through your Seller Central account, where you can choose to have Amazon return your inventory to you, liquidate it at a discounted price, or dispose of it depending on your preference; make sure to do this before the long-term storage fees kick in by checking your “Recommended Removal” report.

If you’re ready to close your Amazon FBA business and avoid ongoing storage fees, here’s what you can do:

Liquidate – Use Amazon’s FBA Liquidations program to recover some money from unsold inventory.

Create a Removal Order – Have Amazon return the inventory to you or donate it.

Discount & Sell Out – Lower prices aggressively to sell remaining stock quickly. You can also use Amazon Outlet if eligible.

Close Your Account – Once inventory is cleared, go to Settings > Account Info and request account closure.

-Opt for Amazon to dispose of unsold products (fees apply).

-Close your Amazon seller account once inventory is removed.

How can i advertise my newly private label product on Amazon? 3 units sold till time, no stars, no reviews till time, Amazon getting storage charges.

Almost one year has passed.

Have coupons and play with discount % to see which one will work. (I.e. 25% for 3 days, if still not moving, make it 30% for another 3 days). You can try up to 40% or whatever is still acceptable to you. Then reassess if you would still like to continue as your sales would have some traction after this.
