How can we address and overcome these kinds of rejections?

The ideal statement for Amazon wholesale sellers on a supplier’s website is: “We only purchase goods directly from the manufacturer and are authorized distributors for everything we sell, so we can guarantee they are authentic and brand new.”

However, when I applied with this statement, I received a rejection (see attached picture).

Is there any solution other than “moving on to the next supplier”?

Hello,

I thank you for registering on our website but we’re not accepting new ecommerce accounts at this time. As a professional beauty brand distributor, a majority of our manufacturers are now requiring us to sign agreements prohibiting us from selling to online retailers and other 3P sellers.

I’ll keep your info on file and reach out if anything changes.

Its about what the brand says. Any supplier can say that.

Nothing you can do as the brand told them to not sell to ecommerce people.

I would also stay away from beauty brands because many of them are getting hard gated now and sellers are getting stuck with large amounts of products not sellable on Amazon.

The brand has authorized them up to a certain limit, as indicated by the statement that says, “We are not approving at the moment.” Is that correct? If the brand forbids them from selling on e-commerce platforms, where would they sell their inventory? Would they sell directly to customers, or is it something else?

Brick-and-mortar stores or personal/company websites.
