How can I get my account back activated?

They’re referring to items that were only listed on my store but never sold any units; tried explaining that to them and got this reply back… what’s my next step ?

Hello,

We received your submission, but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. Additionally, a review of your account indicates that you have listed items that are not permitted for sale on Amazon. Items sold on Amazon must adhere to all applicable laws and Amazon policies.

You may not list or sell this product type on Amazon.ca. To learn more about this policy, visit the following page:

How do I reactivate my account?

To reactivate your selling account on Amazon. ca, please send us a more detailed plan that provides:

    • Greater detail on the root causes of your restricted product violations, including the specific product type and policy violated.
    • Greater detail on the steps you have taken to ensure that no restricted products are listed on your account in the future.

How do I send the required information?

To submit this information, please follow the instructions

So you need to provide an explanation as to why you listed the item. Obviously, according to Amazon, you had the intention to sell that ASIN or brand on your account, even if you didn’t actually sell it but just listed the item. Usually, Amazon checks and asks for invoices when we list high-branded items, as they may suspect you’re selling inauthentic products.

In this case, you need to explain the situation to the Seller Performance (SP) team by writing a strong Plan of Action (POA) with all the necessary details, including your root cause, corrective actions, and very strong preventive measures. For example, you can state that you’ll only list certain categories, and before listing, you’ll make sure to have proper documentation, such as invoices and a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the supplier.

They are asking you just two simple questions, and you only need to answer them. There’s no need to hire anyone for this. Simply explain the entire situation as thoroughly as possible. Tell them that you were unaware of this policy and that you will not list restricted products in the future.

Also, mention that you have not even purchased these products.

The more detailed your answer is, the better the chances of resolving the issue and avoiding account deactivation.

I have the same problem, appeal 3 times and all rejected

How many times have you submitted an appeal to Amazon regarding this issue?

My advice is to provide greater detail about the root cause, the policy that was violated, and the steps you have taken to avoid violating it in the future.

You made a mistake by not reading the listing policy, which states (mention the policy and what it says). Now, I have reviewed all of my listings that could potentially violate this policy and have removed them from my catalog. To ensure this issue never occurs again, I will refer to and follow Amazon’s listing policies before listing any products. If I am unsure, I will contact Seller Support for guidance.

Something along these lines could help. I had a similar issue a long time ago, and this is how I got reactivated. I wrote a detailed, polite letter asking for forgiveness. Make sure to delete any listings that violate the policies.
