Hoping somebody can help? Or anybody had similar experience?

I sent my first pallet to Amazon back on the 30th May (these particular items were very large and heavy so it made sense).

Unfortunately, to this day, the shipment still hasn’t been received and each time I open a case with Amazon I get the same generic responses which is usually something like this shipment is not yet eligible as its not reached the courier.

I’ve tried opening a few cases now but I’m getting nowhere.

The goods are worth approx. 1.8k (cost) and a rough selling price of 3k. The product is seasonal so by October it will probably be worthless.

I’m yet to speak with them on the phone or live chat so just wondering if anybody has any advice?

Did you contact the currier? What did they say?

I contacted the courier, but they had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. When I said it wasn’t me who arranged the collection, but Amazon themselves, they still had no idea what I was on about. They wanted a tracking number, but I don’t have one because Amazon arranged the pallet company.

What I think you’ve got to do now is pinpoint exactly what stage the shipment is at. I take it you have booking confirmation and tracking number?

I have the email confirmation from amazon to confirm the collection. I don’t have the tracking number and never have done. Amazon themselves arranged the pallet company. All I can find is the amazon reference number for the pallet.

Okay, mate, have you provided the order confirmation to Amazon and asked for the tracking number? They have to give it to you, and once you have that, you can proceed with chasing them for the shipment. In the future, I would avoid using them and go through an external party. When things go wrong, they act clueless.

Do you suggest emailing them or calling/live chat to get the tracking number?

I would do both to cover yourself. I would email so you’ve got a paper trail in case they become difficult and straight away open a live chat requesting the tracking number. Could you get a callback? This could also be a way to get that tracking number more than likely faster than the other options

I’ve just opened a case. I sent via email and left my number so maybe they’ll call me back? Or should I just open a new case and speak to them on chat now? Or do I just wait for their response?

This is my email:

You arranged a pallet collection which took place on the 30th May 2024 at approximately 12:30pm. Since the pallet has been collected, there have been no further updates, other than the acknowledgement of the pallet being collected. 9 weeks have passed since the pallet was collected, and I am now requesting the tracking number so I can check the status of my pallet. Please confirm the tracking information ASAP. Many thanks.
