Very new to RA. I’ve just got my first brand ungated with invoice so ready to go with items that are already sold on Amazon but… when I try to test the same brand for an item not already sold on Amazon it still says I need approval.
How do you guys manage this ?
Are there any ways around this if I’m not affiliated or have a letter saying they approve me selling their brand?

Ask the brand for permission to sell their products on Amazon. Make sure you have the right documents like a letter or invoice.
Upload these documents on Amazon to request approval. Be patient, as approval might take time.

That’s happening to me. I am approved to sell jewelry, and approved to sell this brand of charms. But, every time I try to list a new one, I have to go around-and-around with them to provide the documents and pictures every time.
In my case, CHARM IT! doesn’t have any manufacturers packaging per se, and their UPC codes are not stamped on the product. They use little labels.
So, what did Funky do?
Funky said forget about it, and took Seller Supports advice to list them as Generic.
