If so, how much longer are these delivery windows now compared to what they used to be, and has this change affected your business operations or customer satisfaction in any noticeable way?
No.
You have two options. In the first option, Amazon decides your handling time based on your performance. In the second option, you can set your own template and define your handling and transit time.
We define our own, and Amazon adds an extra week.
Maybe it’s because of your increased OTDR.
I’ve been seeing a sharp decline in my sales since October 1st. It’s like they’ve dropped off a cliff, down 45% compared to where we were this time last month, and that’s with September typically being one of our slower months.
I spent some time digging into things this morning, trying to pinpoint what changed, and I came across something pretty alarming. Normally, I have a 1-day handling time (with most orders shipping out the same day) and my transit time is set to 1-3 days. So in theory, the maximum delivery estimate for buyers should be around 4-5 days.
But right now, all of my listings are showing delivery estimates of 2 weeks from the order date! This is happening across all my products, which seems really off.
