Has anyone received this?

Ok, now what’s the trick Amazon?

Hello,

Effective November 7, 2024, we’ll proactively reimburse you for Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) items that are lost in our fulfilment centres. We’ll issue the reimbursement as soon as an item is reported as lost by the fulfilment centre. This more seamless experience will help save you time and money minimizing the need to manually research and file claims for lost items.

To track your reimbursements, go to Reimbursements report.

The trick is they don’t do all the missing stock.

I have had a few that I have had to manual so still.

I’ve also recently had a lot of reimbursement reversals where they have found the stock.

You can only claim reimbursements 60 days after the shipment was created. Doesn’t give you much time to submit if there’s something wrong with your shipment. I’ve been fighting with Amazon since July to get reimburse for over 20k+ of inventory they scanned in and it all mysteriously disappeared and Amazon doesn’t know what happened to it.

Surely they will still want a POD?

It’s not for lost shipments, it’s for units that have been lost in the Amazon warehouse, you can get clear insights from the inventory ledger report.

You can’t claim reimbursements past 60 days like you use to be able to, as far as I understand it because now they’ll ’automatically’ do it.

Have you tried hiring a company like Getida? I had the same situation, I fought with them for months over a missing shipment that had just disappeared. They refused to pay and claimed they never received it. I kid you not, I hired Getida, and not even three weeks later, all the missing inventory reappeared, after over seven months of fighting.
