Has anyone in the UK successfully reinstated an Amazon seller account after a linked-account suspension where the common link was the use of the same third-party service provider?

In our case, the provider supported both accounts, but only through delegated/secondary user access. They were not the primary account holder and did not control the legal entity, bank account, tax details, identity verification, or ownership of the business.

Amazon’s position seems to be that the provider was managing the entirety of both accounts, but we believe this is an operational overlap through a third-party provider, not common ownership or control.

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through a similar situation and successfully got reinstated. What evidence helped Amazon accept the distinction between third-party provider overlap and actual account control?

Thank you.

Unfortunately, I have not seen many genuine success stories where the only alleged link was a shared third-party service provider. The main challenge is that Amazon often expects you to prove not only that you are independent, but also why its automated systems incorrectly associated your account with another seller. Similar cases involving shared registered office providers or other third-party services have been discussed by UK sellers, and they can be particularly difficult to resolve.

If you continue appealing, I would focus on providing clear evidence that:
• you have never owned or operated the other account;
• the third-party provider was simply a service used by many unrelated businesses;
• you have no shared ownership, directors, bank accounts, devices, IP addresses, or user permissions with the other seller; and
• where possible, you have now moved away from that provider.

If your appeals have only concentrated on the address provider, it may be worth broadening them to explain every aspect of your business that demonstrates complete independence. Include a clear timeline, supporting documents, and a detailed explanation of why there has never been any operational relationship with the suspended account.

I’d also be interested to know whether Amazon specifically identified the third-party provider as the reason for the linkage, or whether that is your own conclusion based on the information available.
