Has anyone here had experience selling handmade or traditional items from other countries on Amazon?

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m currently visiting the beautiful country of Morocco, and I’ve been amazed by the unique craftsmanship and traditional items here. One thing that has particularly caught my eye is the stunning collection of traditional Moroccan handbags, along with other unique handcrafted items that would make great additions to any collection.

This got me thinking, if I were to bring some of these beautiful traditional handbags (or similar items) back with me, would I be able to sell them on Amazon? I’m curious about what steps I would need to take, especially when it comes to listing these kinds of products, ensuring they’re compliant with Amazon’s guidelines, and any customs or import regulations I should be aware of.

Any advice or tips you could share would be much appreciated!

Thank you in advance

Yes, you can sell traditional handbags on Amazon. However, it’s important to ensure that your items comply with Amazon’s selling policies and guidelines. This includes verifying that your products are authentic, meet quality standards, and do not infringe on any intellectual property rights.
