my prep centre is having issue creating shipments using ‘FBA inventory’ tab and I’ve even given them admin permission to be able to do it via the Manage Inventory tab but they’re having no luck and when the click on ‘send/replenish inventory’ it takes them to another page that says ‘you don’t have permissions’.
I’ve messaged Seller support but they’ve give me a templated answer.
If it helps the prep centre hasn’t verified their identity on the user permission side.
This is a common issue when a user hasn’t completed identity verification, even if you’ve granted them full admin permissions. Amazon requires all secondary users who need access to sensitive features, like creating FBA shipments, to verify their identity through the “User Permissions” section in your Seller Central. Until your prep centre completes that verification (usually involves providing an email, phone number, and going through a 2FA process), they won’t be able to access shipment creation tools, even if their role is set as admin. Have them log in, go to “Settings > User Permissions,” and follow the prompts to verify their account. Once verified, the permission should sync properly and they’ll be able to access the “Send/Replenish Inventory” page without hitting that error.
