Has anyone faced similar problems? Or any suggestions?

Hope everyone is doing well. We recently faced an unexpected issue with Amazon. We have been selling in the Canadian marketplace for a long time and operating multiple accounts but this is what we are facing

All our brand selling applications declined

Account 1 → 480 AHR → 222 feedbacks and every other brand is gated, before 28 July we never found any brand gated

Account 2 → 312 AHR-> 22 feedback and all applications declined we have provided every necessary document

Same issues for other accounts all applications are getting declined

Brand ungating has become difficult unless you are located in the same market as the brand.

Happened same to me and the other seller is from China and they can sell. So unfair.

Same here selling on Canadian market for 4 years 500 + health score. More than 250 reviews and every small brands are gated and need to ungated now. I am not sure what’s going on with Amazon.

Did you try any selling application? My applications getting declined too within 1 minute after the request.

Yes, brand approvals in the Canadian marketplace have become more difficult recently, even with clean accounts and complete documentation. It seems Amazon has quietly tightened restrictions or introduced new gating protocols, possibly to prevent abuse of the brand approval system across linked or related accounts. If you’re using similar documents across multiple accounts or they’re linked in any way, that could be triggering stricter scrutiny. You might try opening a case and asking for a specific reason why the applications are being declined, though responses can be vague. Also consider using separate invoices and contact details per account to avoid overlap. Let’s hope it’s a temporary clampdown and things loosen up again soon.

I tried one but it wasn’t for 1 minutes after but couple hours later and they want invoice from my distributor not order confirmation so I just got invoice from them and will try again tomorrow and see what happens.

You are right I submitted couples and got rejected after 1 or 2 minutes. Doesn’t matter what you provide its simply no. Is there any update from your side? Still everything gated?

I got ungate in 2 brands, but after they rejected 4 times they finally accepted. But for other brands, I’m gated.

Not sure about Canadian marketplace specifically but I had this issue once with Amazon US, I had to call seller support and speak with tier 3/executive team. They supposedly troubleshooted the problem and did a reset, and then asked me to submit my invoices again which helped fix the problem. Maybe try your luck with this if you haven’t already.

They are gating all foreign sellers. Nothing to do with your account health stats.

Did you do anything special to get approval of other two? I tried couple times I think I should try more again.
