Has anyone experienced this issue and found a solution to prevent the account switching without impacting Seller Central?

Hello,

I’m having trouble managing my different Amazon accounts on the EU marketplace, and I’m unsure how to resolve it. My setup includes:

  • Seller Business Account
  • Buyer/Customer Business Account
  • Buyer/Customer Personal Account

When I check prices and the Buy Box on the marketplace, I need to use my buyer personal account. However, each time I refresh or perform a new search, Amazon automatically switches to my buyer business account. This leads to different pricing and Buy Box results depending on the ASIN, making it frustrating and time-consuming to constantly switch accounts.

Here’s what happens:

  • If I log out, it also logs me out of Seller Central.
  • If I log back into Seller Central, it automatically logs me into the customer marketplace with my buyer business account.
  • When I attempt to close my buyer business account, Amazon warns that I’ll lose access to other Amazon features, including Seller Central. I’m not sure if this would impact my business seller account as well.

Alternatively, is there a setting that allows me to set my personal customer account as the default? (I did not find anything like this.)

Thank you for any insights.

To manage your different Amazon accounts more efficiently on the EU marketplace, consider using separate browsers or browser profiles dedicated to each account type (Seller Business, Buyer Business, and Buyer Personal) to prevent automatic switching and session conflicts. This way, you can keep your personal buyer account open in one profile for checking prices and the Buy Box, while managing your Seller Central in another, avoiding the issue of being logged out or switched between accounts. Unfortunately, Amazon does not offer a setting to set a default buyer account, and closing your buyer business account could indeed impact your Seller Central access. Browser profiles can help you avoid the need for frequent logging in and out without risking account access issues.
