Has anyone experienced this before, and how did you resolve it?

Help required, if possible:

I am currently selling a product that is offered as a 3-pack bundle at a wholesale level, typically in pallet quantities. However, upon reviewing my listing yesterday, I noticed that it has been changed from a 3-pack to a 2-pack bundle, completely altering the offer, even though I have 354 units of the 3-pack in the FBA warehouse.

I have contacted Amazon, but it feels like talking to a brick wall, and I haven’t received a straightforward answer. Surely someone can’t just come along and change a listing like this? I assume other sellers might be in the same position.

Keep opening cases and ask for a manager case. Mention that if it is not sorted, you are going to email people in a higher position at Amazon.

Report an abuse:

Unfortunately, having an established listing suddenly changed is a very common issue. I am experiencing it every single day. I keep opening Seller Support cases until they fix it.

I would advise you to avoid using the Report a violation tool in it’s entirety - this can only result in your own account getting suspended.

Via the report abuse section, you have more chances than via the standard case. The chances are 50/50, but I managed to return old images from some listings that were hijacked by completely random Chinese products. For the future, stay away from listings created and supported by immature sellers. Once you see changes like this, sell it and move on. If they did it once, they might do it again.

If the listing is not owned by you and is created by somebody else, then it can happen. Some sellers do that to shake off the other sellers and create trouble.

Make sure you close the listing while you fight Amazon’s windmills. This way your inventory won’t be sold to a customer and get abused.
