Has any one ever had Amazon give a refund to a customer 7 months later?

Are there any way to avoid this happening???

Yep, happens here and there very annoying and you can’t do anything about it

Uncommon, but not impossible. To avoid, ensure prompt customer service and resolve issues swiftly to prevent delayed refund requests.

It can happen if the buyer opens a chargeback with their bank. Alternatively, the buyers can open A-Z claims 180 days after latest EDD.

It has happened to me. But it wasn’t 7 months later, it was 17 months later.

There’s nothing we can do about it.

Did anyone manage to get their money credited back?

You should check if the order EDD is more than 180 days ago. Open a case with Seller Support, ask to be reimbursed and wait.
