Has any brand owner experienced not being able to update their own EBC now A+ content due to a former 3P seller adding the content first?

My previous reseller with brand registry rights is gone and now I am trying to update my own brands A+ content and I am being told “You are unable to add content to this ASIN because there is an existing retail contribution on this ASIN.”

Any past experience here?

If you’re the brand owner, you have the option to request an ASIN ownership transfer through Amazon Brand Registry.

It should be possible to have the retail contribution removed, which would enable you to make updates to your A+ content.
