Getting started with legit UK wholesale suppliers

I’ve recently started Amazon FBA wholesale in the UK, but I’m finding it quite challenging to identify legitimate wholesalers, distributors, or suppliers in the UK market.

When I search on Google, I come across many websites, but it’s hard to know:

• which ones are genuine
• which suppliers are accepted by Amazon
• and which are suitable for FBA wholesale
If anyone here can share guidance, trusted UK wholesale websites, or tips on how you find verified suppliers, I’d really appreciate it.

Any advice from your experience would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance

In my experience, the best strategy is to focus on small and emerging brands instead of only searching for big wholesalers.

Start hunting small brands daily in your selected niche. For example, if you find 50 brands every day, that means you can discover around 1,500 brands in a month. Even if only 10% of them give you approval, you’ll still have strong opportunities.

After getting approvals, visit their websites or catalogs, analyze their products properly, check profitability, demand, and competition. Sometimes the profit margin is not very high at the beginning, but your business becomes stable and scalable in the long term.

Consistency in brand hunting and product analysis is the key to smooth growth in Amazon wholesale.

Unfortunately, Amazon wholesale is pretty much a dying business model. Most of the brands are getting gated day after day. If you purchase a huge lot of inventory, because many brands require a high minimum ordered quantity to let you be their wholesale partner, you are risking being gated and stuck with unsellable inventory in FBA.
