With out seeing your item, I cannot even begin to guess. Years ago (many) before amazon was manipulating sellers I can remember having orders the SAME DAY the listing would start.
Keep in mind amazon is hyper-saturated with sellers and that does not help matters. What is worse is how amazon manipulates buyers AND sellers. Every thing is centric to amazon making money, looking thru the amazon lens all sellers are chumps. I don’t recall them being like that years ago, however I was younger and stupidly trusted the online market places.
