FAQ for vacation settings (2023 Obon holiday season) (Amazon Seller Forum) (Japanese)

Note:

  1. For JP Store, Obon holiday will be treated as a weekday on August 14 (Monday) to August 16 (Wednesday) according to the calendar, and will be counted as the number of shipping work days. Only August 11 (Friday) will be treated as a public holiday (See page 4 of Settings to configure before a long vacation on the Seller University content (Japanese)).

  2. Change your products’ Seller Fulfilled Prime or Expedited shipping to Standard shipping option.

  3. Change the handling time from Settings in Seller Central as needed. Select Shipping Settings and edit General Shipping Settings.

  4. During the Obon holidays, some shipping carriers operate on temporary or special timetable. Check with your contracted carriers in advance to see if pickup and delivery services are operated on special schedule during this period.

  5. If you are using Scheduled Delivery, holidays will be calculated as shipping days. If you do not ship on public holidays, uncheck Scheduled Delivery in Shipping Settings (See page 11 of Scheduled Delivery on the Seller University content (Japanese)).
