For direct shipment to Amazon FBA from China using an Amazon-partnered freight forwarder, do I need to pay the freight forwarder, or will Amazon pay?

can anyone help me? My shipment is from China, and the Amazon-partnered forwarder wants me to pay in advance for the shipment, saying Amazon will pay them next year, so I should pay them in advance.

What should I do?
