Hi,
can anyone help me? My shipment is from China, and the Amazon-partnered forwarder wants me to pay in advance for the shipment, saying Amazon will pay them next year, so I should pay them in advance.

yee, When using Amazon’s “SEND” service, you need to pay the first mile logistics fee to the freight forwarder yourself, and Amazon will not cover it for you.
By the way, I am a professional Amazon FBA freight agent from China. If you need a free alternative solution, I can also assist you
You always have to pay the freight forwarder yourself when shipping from China to Amazon FBA, even if they are listed as an “Amazon-partnered” carrier. Amazon never pays freight charges for sellers, and any forwarder telling you that “Amazon will pay them next year” is either misinformed or trying to shift risk onto you.
Amazon-partnered simply means the carrier is approved to deliver to FBA warehouses and the booking can be created through Seller Central, but the invoice is still your responsibility. If the forwarder insists on advance payment, that’s completely normal — most China-based logistics providers require full or partial payment before export.
What you should do is confirm that the forwarder is legitimate, listed in your shipment workflow inside Seller Central, and able to provide a proper commercial invoice. If anything they’re saying sounds strange or inconsistent, switch to a different forwarder, because reputable Amazon-partnered carriers will never claim that Amazon covers transport costs.
