just posted an item for sale. It was unrestricted, so no approval needed, but I haven’t received email or anything from Amazon on where to send the inventory or how many items.

You usually won’t get shipping instructions until you actually create the FBA shipment workflow in Seller Central. Once you enter the quantity and packaging details, Amazon will assign the warehouse location and generate the labels for you.

Go to Manage Inventory → Create FBA shipment. Amazon won’t email, you must set quantity, prep, and print labels yourself there.
