FBM addresses

Just wondering if anyone ships FBM and has had a similar experience with addresses.

I check every single address to make sure it’s laid out correctly and complete. But I still get requests for refunds for items not delivered and when I check the order address it is totally incorrect and usually just has the town, postcode and a single name and no house number or street name.

Could buyers change their address after purchasing so it’s incomplete, but after I have purchased the postage label which is correct.

If you checked the address before sending, then the address would have been correct.

Buyers can’t change the address after the order is placed however due to privacy laws, Amazon removes most of the address information from the order after 30 days.

It’s good practice to download and save an order report from Seller Central at the end of every month so that you have access to this information before Amazon deletes it.
