FBA returns

Hi!

How do you deal with FBA returns and process?

What do you mean?

With FBA returns Amazon handles the customer side completely, meaning buyers send the item back to Amazon and get their refund processed automatically, and then Amazon decides whether the return is resellable or not.

If it’s deemed in good condition it goes straight back into your sellable inventory, but if it’s damaged or unsellable you’ll see it in your returns report and it either gets marked as “customer damaged,” “defective,” or “carrier damaged.”

You can then create a removal order to have those units sent back to you or disposed of, and in cases where Amazon or the carrier is at fault you can file a reimbursement claim. It’s a good habit to check your FBA customer returns report regularly, monitor for patterns of abuse, and request reimbursements where appropriate so you don’t lose out unnecessarily.
