what is reserved inventory?
There are three reasons your inventory could be in reserved status; Customer order, FC transfer, or FC processing.
Thank you for the response. Here is what I am seeing. Basically the entire stock of a specific product is blocked and unavailable for sale.
Try running the Reserved Inventory Report. It should provide more details.

Status: Pending FC Processing
We determined 64 unit(s) have been sidelined at the fulfillment center. These units have been sidelined at the fulfillment center for additional processing, such as verification of item dimensions and weight, pending investigations, or FC transshipment. FC processing can take up to 3 days to complete.

FC Processing doesn’t happen often. Once they are finished your units should be ready to be FC transferred, if necessary, and placed in your available inventory.

Was the reserved inventory only recently received? Are there any units of the same ASIN at all, which are available and not reserved?
If just a portion of all units are reserved, then it is most likely just FC processing. If all are reserved and it is not a shipment of newly received units, then the inventory could be under investigation.
The units were available and then moved too reserved after being available for over a month.
I have had an explanation this evening though (attached) one floor of a FC has been closed for maintenance
