Are Amazon FBA fees calculated on the default set displayed RRP price of the product or on the sale price you set?
Amazon deducts the applicable referral fee percentage calculated on the total sales price, excluding any taxes calculated through Amazon tax calculation services. The total sales price is the total amount paid by the buyer, including the item price and any delivery charges or gift wrapping charges.
FBA fees are determined by size and weight of the product, referral fee is based on actual price of the sale (RRP isn’t factored in)
No, Amazon FBA fees are calculated based on the sale price you set, not the default displayed RRP price.
Thanks, yes I did mean referral fee, on my listings, it only calculates the fees based on the RRP? Haven’t as yet drilled into the actual costs from an invoice, any tips?
No, not really.
The fees are pretty well laid out, and easy to understand. The biggest “gottcha” will be the FBA storage fees. You need to manage those closely to avoid FBA inventory storage overage fees.
All the best…
Thank you
