a new ENHANCED product arrived at Amazon about three weeks ago and has been getting crazy sales, but the long pause dropped my capacity to 100 cubic feet. I want to apply for additional storage until it increases, does anyone know exactly how to do that, as I’ve never tried?
Go to the Capacity Manager in Seller Central to request more storage space and if your product is selling good, Amazon may approve it based on your sales and IPI score.
Hi, to request additional FBA storage capacity, go to your Amazon Seller Central account, navigate to “Inventory” > “FBA Dashboard” > “Storage Limits,” and click on the “Request More Capacity” button under the relevant storage type; you’ll need to specify the amount of extra space needed and provide details about your planned inventory and expected sales, and if approved, you’ll pay a reservation fee (which can be offset by performance credits if your product sells well).
They will normally increase the capacity immediately, once they approve a request.
So, if it’s July and you are applying to have your storage increased in August, then once they approve your request, you will be able to ship immediately.
