Hello Amazon sellers,

I need your suggestions. I have £25k set aside, and I’m really interested in starting a TikTok shop to buy a range of best-selling products for the UK market in small quantities. My plan is to use affiliate commissions, flash discounts, etc., for marketing. Afterward, I will rent some space for storage, pack the products myself, and send them to customers.

What are your thoughts? Kindly share your suggestions.

As long as your overall selling prices minus all your costs leave a decent amount of profit, then it’s a good plan.

This assumes your products get sold and there is no guarantee that will happen. If you are offering commissions and discounts, your buying prices will need to be very low. Do you have that buying power?

As you say you will buy in small quantities, probably not. Are you planning to buy wholesale or at retail prices?

If you want to earn through affiliate commission, you do not need to invest in stock.

Nah, I will definitely need stock to ship the products myself. What I mean by commission is that I pay creators to sell my products through commission links.

My plan is to buy lots of small popular products (think gadgets for travel, foldable cutlery, bag holders etc) and then create TikTok videos to drive traffic and customers to my shop.

What I would do is use a software like Fast Moss to see what the top accounts are selling and what the top products are. Then, I would just replicate their business. But first, understand the market and the types of products that are selling.
