Does the billing address on invoice need to match my selling account address in case of authenticity review?

What could you do if the delivery address and cardholder address were listed as the same on the invoice instead of showing the actual cardholder address, with both showing as the prep address?

The supplier has refused to change the invoice.

I am asking just in case I receive authenticity complaints.

Thanks.

I had this issue, and to be honest, I just gave up asking them to change the details on the invoice.

In the case of an authenticity review, Amazon typically expects the billing or sold-to address on the invoice to match the legal name and address on your Amazon seller account, as that helps them verify the purchase is linked to you as the seller. If both the billing and delivery address on your invoice show your prep center instead of your actual business or cardholder address, Amazon may reject the invoice during an authenticity review, especially if they feel it doesn’t clearly tie back to your business. Since the supplier has refused to change the invoice, your best option is to prepare a strong explanation letter in advance, clearly stating that the invoice reflects your authorized prep center and that you’re the account holder. Include any contracts or communications with the prep center that show your affiliation, and retain proof of payment from a bank statement or credit card showing the transaction came from your business account. It’s not ideal, but if you document everything and can prove ownership of the goods, Amazon might still accept it under review.
