Does anyone use 2D labels when shipping to Amazon?

Have you found that it helps speed up the shipping / check-in times of your shipment?

Hello,

yes, some sellers do use 2D barcodes when shipping to Amazon, especially larger-volume sellers or prep centers, because they can speed up receiving and reduce manual box-content entry. The main advantage is that the 2D barcode can contain detailed box content information such as FNSKUs, quantities, and expiration dates, which helps Amazon process shipments faster and reduces receiving discrepancies.

However, 2D barcodes do not replace the normal Amazon shipment or box labels, they work alongside them, and they are generally more useful for repetitive high-volume shipments rather than small mixed shipments.

Many smaller sellers still stick with standard FNSKU and shipment labels because they are simpler and fully sufficient for normal FBA operations, while 2D barcode workflows become more beneficial once you are shipping larger carton quantities regularly or using warehouse software integrated with Amazon’s shipment system.
