I’m a new Amazon seller and just saw that the Vine program is available on Amazon Australia now. I was thinking about signing up, but the fee is pretty steep—$230 for up to 30 items. I’m a bit hesitant because what if I only get one review after paying that much? Not sure if it’s really worth it. Has anyone here tried the Vine program before?
Would love to hear your thoughts!
Not used it but although the cost is significant, the payback could make it worth it.
I can’t remember where I saw it but I think that Amazon claim that you should expect around 15-20 reviews.
Don’t forget that you should add the referral and FBA fee to the cost which makes the programme even more expensive.
I have never liked the idea of Amazon Vine, but since I am frequently getting targeted by competitors who dump 1 star reviews on my private label products (which otherwise never receive any ratings, therefore a single negative ruins them), I decided to give it a try.
So, when I joined and gave away 30 free units, within less than a week - I had some 25 4-5 star reviews! And the products started selling massively!
Definitely worth it. Unless you are selling some phone cases, etc. These are known not to attract much interest.
