I’ve been selling an ASIN as a wholesale product on my client’s Seller Central account by using the “Add Product” option on the correct listing.

However, when I attempt to list the same ASIN on another Seller Central account using the same method, I encounter the error below.

It’s being recognized as a generic product, even though the correct listing already exists on Amazon.

This may happen if Amazon has flagged the ASIN or has restricted certain listings to specific sellers, causing it to appear as a generic or standalone product rather than linking to the established listing. To resolve this, double-check that you’re entering the ASIN and product details exactly as they appear in the original listing. You might also try contacting Seller Support to clarify any listing restrictions or issues specific to that ASIN on the second account, as they may need to manually link it to the correct listing.

It is generic listing on the backend.
