Does anyone have a problem with Keepa?

We were restricted due to multiple users even if we upgraded our subscription.

Keepa is a bit strict now a days and I was blocked for two IDs due to this issue.

We are temporarily blocked for a week. That isn’t good and I think our sourcing team is not using VPN even though they were provided one.

That’s probably why they blocked us. Maybe my client will create a new account while waiting for the old account to be lifted.

My team got blocked on Friday.

Had to go and take a subscription for each of them with own seperate log ins.

Works fine now. We did try VPN’s but only worked for so long.

If they are blocking a VPN that is bad, run in the opposite direction.
Only safe way to do research on the internet is to work inside of a VM using VPN.
If they are blocking a VPN it is because they are selling user profiles to advertisers.

A VPN has NOTHING to do with multiple users logged in, so keep that in mind too.

Interesting. If they did so, then this would be prohibited.

I think that many people are sharing these expensive subscription services with others and they are doing everything they can to block them from doing so, since they are losing money.

It is very easy to stop multiple logins on server side, when you are logged in no one else can log in since that account is now in a “locked” state.

If they are blocking VPN to stop multiple logins all they are telling people is BS to hide what they are doing.

They want the ip address of your internet gateway/modem, that is so internet “TV” can serve commercials to you based upon your activities and other “anonymous” information. Your TV set is connected to the same internet connection when at home, they now have the “cross-hairs” on you.

Keepa may restrict users to multiple logins even after upgrading subscriptions. Check with Keepa support for assistance and clarification on the restriction.

They are clamping down on multiple users per account. We had to take separate subscriptions for each member of my team:

Yes theyve become like netflix

Oh my, 24 hours. I would say explitive you and cancel my subscription. Talk about rude and arrogant, all they have to do is block the other logins and yet they are being a bully and shutting you down for 24 hours. Big tech… wanna be.

All of these seller tools are developed by Amazon gurus with no manners and customer service.

There are very few good alternatives to Keepa and they are doing everything to prevent account sharing.

Sadly, that is big tech culture.
Rude and totally inconsiderate of customers and others.

Just have to share a real good one about microsoft. They shut down a fair number of machines in our facility, why, the machines are a few years old and used the older smb1 network protocol (its all air-gapped). Guess what those explitive explitive’s did. One of the check boxes buried in the Windows 11 configuration was scheduled removal and this removed the smb1 protocol from the Windows box that connects to all of the machines still running smb1. What they did is not something that can be solved easily by an end user unless they have a network engineer on staff. Big tech really breed a mess, in less than 20 years. I cannot begin to imagine how it will be in the next 20 or more years.

You are right. I love Apple gadgets, but hate the way how they keep releasing new versions every year + new software. Perfectly functioning devices are becoming dated and unusable.

I have my iPhone SE and have been using it since release in 2016. A perfectly functioning phone barely works anymore, solely because of the software updates. The same goes with my iPads Pro bought in 2017 and 2018.

These gadgets are very expensive, but become inoperable just a few years later, forcing you to buy new ones or get stuck with no apps working, since everything requires the latest iOS, which is no longer compatible with your device.

The irony is all of them speak out of both sides of their mouths. “GREEN” this GREEN that and solar, wind power. Yet they are key players in a massive environmental wreck. The “stuff” in those devices does not melt down like iron that can be easily reused…

When it comes to an operating system that is actually environmentally safe it is Debian or Ubuntu. We had a 20 YEAR old server running the current release of Ubuntu server, only reason it is off line is because it finally died due to hardware failure.

Yes. How gentle and green to the environment, but doing everything they can to ensure their customers will be forced to replace their gadgets.

The same goes with other electronics.

Indeed, if these products lasted for decades, they wouldn’t make any money.
