Does Amazon normally verify each secodary user?

Hi everyone,

I’ve just added a secondary user to my Amazon account for the first time. I followed all the steps in the ‘User Permission’ section, but now it’s asking me to verify the user and submit a form of ID, like a passport or driver’s license.

Is this normal, or did I make a mistake somewhere?

If you don’t give return and refund access, they usually won’t ask for verification, but that’s in the US. For the UK, I believe you do need to verify the identity of the second user. I remember when I worked for a UK seller, I didn’t have the necessary documents, so he created the account using his brother’s details for me.

Yes u should submit a passport copy or any other form of identification and it should be fine.

You’re right! In the UK, even the minimum access requires verification. I’m glad to hear you didn’t make any mistakes.
